Located south of Phu Quoc, Mong Tay island is blessed with turquoise coastline, sandy beaches, crystal water and lines of coconut trees.
When it comes to the beach in the blue “pearl”, many people often only think of Bali, Maldives, or Saloem Koh Rong. However, Vietnam owns lots of beautiful beaches stretching from the South to the North that are worth a visit.
Once you visit Mong Tay island, you will be truly amazed at natural beauty of the island. After years of “steamrolled” the coastal path, the beautiful islands, large and small in Vietnam, we can say that Mong Tay island is like Maldives – one of the most intriguing islands in the world.

Mong Tay island located in the south, from Phu Quoc island district about 14 km. To discover this island, you can start from An Thoi port (Thoi town). Depart early from Duong Dong town along the highway 46 to get to the port. From there, you can get on a canoe to go to the island.
After nearly 30 minutes staying on canoes, you will arrive Mong Tay island where you will see lush green coconut trees and turquoise beaches. It seems that visitors are overwhelmed by the beauty of this island.

Sea water here has a clear blue color jade unlike watercolor of destinations usually through editing or narrated by other figurative reality. Immerse yourself into cool water to rejuvenate and unwind after a long journey.
After bathing, go for a walk to take photos and explore around the island. It would be a regret if you do not bring a fishing rod under. Take a boat along the north side of the island, you can enjoy fishing at shallow water areas.
